Volunteer Opportunties

Book Recycling:

Help the library and the environment. It's win/win!

Times are flexible - you can volunteer any time that the library is open!

And the icing on the cake? If you see a book you'd like, you're welcome to rescue it from the recycling and take it home!

Book Recyclers will:

• Rip the covers off of unwanted books so that the pages can be recycled.
• Empty recycling bins.
• Sort and organize books.

Advanced Book Recyclers will:

• Search ISBNs in an online database.
• Seek organizations that would like donations of books
• Interact with representatives from organizations to schedule pick-ups of books.
